 Carolyn and Coach John Schnell

What a beautiful couple. I remember when they got married in 1949. We thank you for coming to our Reunion!

Distinguished Military Achievement Award
Lt. Col. David Spotswood - Class of 1948

David was one of the 98 selected airmen of our great United States Air Force pilots who flew the SR-71; which is the fastest air breathing aircraft to date! What skill it took to handle this aircraft. Hats off to you sir! BHS is proud of you and thank you for coming to the "Last Hurrah" Reunion. It was so good to see you after all these many years. (Like maybe 63 years!)

Appreciation Award - Invocation
Tom Bryan - Class of 1950

Thank you Tom for coming all the way from Georgia to deliver the Invocation and attend the "Last Hurrah" Reunion.

Jerry Holman accepting the T.L. & Imogene Holman Award

T.L Holman (Supt. of Schools) and Imogene Holman (Art Teacher) were the "Dynamic Duo" of BHS. Mr. Holman dedicated BHS in 1937 and held the Superintendency of the Berkeley School System until his retirement in the 1960's. Mrs. Holman was one of our favorite teachers. She had great teaching skills and was just a wonderful lady. The Lithopane lamp has a carved picture of both of them.

Lithopane lamps presented to
Elaine (Combs) Noble & Jean (Miller) Webb
in appreciation for all their great help in planning this Reunion

Jean decided she would rather Arnold Smith have the lamp and gave it to him. It is now in his hands and en-route to South Carolina.
